Founder & Specialist Support Coordinator
Richard is a proud transgender man and has over ten years experience in broadcast television, theatre and events and several years experience in community and disability services including peer support and support coordination. He holds a Masters of Counselling and a voracious appetite to learn. He has extensive experience supporting trans and gender diverse people, from young adults to older people and is honoured to walk alongside someone on their journey.
Every person is an expert in their own life and their understanding of the world is as true as Richard’s own. Therefore, he believes that one of the gifts of counselling is deeply compassionate self-awareness, self-knowledge and recognition of the skills and insights that we already have.
Richard is involved in several collaboratives and advisory teams to help bring about meaningful change in the way that people are treated in mental health settings.
